Healthy Egg-less & Vegan, No Maida, Banana Walnut Cake

                               
                        

Ingredients 

Dry ingredients

Wheat Flour(Aata) -------- 1 cup
Baking powder ------------ 1 tsp
Baking soda --------------- 1 tsp
Salt ------------------------ pinch of
Cinnamon powder -------- 1/4 tsp
Walnuts ------------------- 1/4 cup (roughly chopped)

Wet ingredients

Brown sugar ------------- 1/2 cup
White sugar -------------- 2 tbsp
*Thick yogurt ------------ 1/4 cup (Room temp)
Vegetable oil ------------- 1/4 cup 
Banana ------------------- 3 medium sized (over-ripped)
Vanilla Essence ----------- 1 tsp (optional)

For the Toppings  2 tbsp of chopped walnuts.                                                                                                                                                           

Preparation

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius, grease your cake tin with ghee and set aside.

Step 2. In a bowl, sieve together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon powder and set aside.

Step 3. Take ripped bananas and cut them into pieces.

Step 4. Now add sugar and mash the banana.

Step 5. Add oil and vanilla extract.

Step 6. Blend and combine all the dry ingredients with mashed banana.

Step 7. Add walnut and fold gently.

Step 8. Transfer the batter into the cake tin, now sprinkle the chopped walnuts.

Step 9. Pat the tray to remove the air into the batter.

Step 10. Place the tray into preheated oven.

Step 11. Bake the cake at 180 Degree Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes.

Step 12. Allow the cake to cool completely, later cut to slices and serve.


Notes*

• For vegan skip yogurt by adding more oil (1/4 cup).
• Use well ripped bananas to get great results, add nuts of your choice or chocolate chips.
• Egg-less & vegan banana bread  taste great when prepared with nuts.
